It’s been a while…

I’ve had a number of people ask me when my next Vim Video is going to go online… I know it’s been a while since I put one up, and unfortunately it’s going to be a while longer.

Work has picked up in the last little while and on top of that, I’m buying a new house and am preparing for the move. After the move finishes I should be able to do another one. The only real problem is that the new videos are going to be of the intermediate and advanced quality and those take a lot more thought and time :)

I appreciate all the great responses, encouragement and all the interest! Keep reading those help files and stay tuned…

Woohoo – Glad to hear this blog lives on – I was beginning to get worried.

I’ve used vim for quite a while – but after a whole weekend watching your videos, reading your blog, my love for vim grew exponentially!

I’ve always said that if you find another vim user, you’ll learn something new. I certainly learnt a lot from your shared knowledge.

Best of luck with the house move, I look forward to your updates.

While browsing around for some vim-tutorials and documentation i’ve come across your site and found your great videos. I’ll spend the rest of my weekend watching them because there’s a lot for me to learn in them and i love the way you’re presenting!

All the best, keep em coming,
    Uwe

I came across your videos because I wanted to find some good tutorials for making the “switch” from IDEs with their poor editors to Vim. Your videos definitely are enticing me for doing this move! You present them really well and I like the touch of humour you bring I thought I was crazy for always trying not to touch the mouse and arrow keys and I found the reason not to now :). Already went up and found Eclim which integrates eclipse within vim and all I need to learn now is vim (ok and touch typing). Best of luck with that new house!

Just discovered your vim vids the other day and have been soaking them up! PLEASE do find some time to continue them :) They’re so educational to me, and your personality is amusing!

Hope the move, etc. went well!
