Alright… I’ve had a lot of traffic lately and a lot of people emailing me (something’s occurred on the inter-web recently that’s picked up the interest in these videos beyond the usual 1k views per week… I don’t know what it was). This has sparked my interest in making more videos so that’s what I’m going to try and do.

But, in the last few months, I’ve also had a number of people asking me where they can send me a virtual beer, and I’ve had no place to do that. I never really cared, but hey… if a few bucks can offset my website costs every year then what the hell?

So, if you feel like making a donation of a few bucks, feel free to do so, and if you don’t, feel free to not do so :) Whatever you do, keep using Vim, and if you feel like making a donation to the Vim project instead, please do.

I’ve just made a few updates to the vimrc section of this site to describe a bit more about what the vimrc is, where it can be found, etc… As well, I updated the bare minimum to include ‘wildmenu’ – an absolute must!

I surf a lot on my BlackBerry and my own website was brutal for it. I tried a ton of themes and was completely disappointed. All I had to do was install the WordPress Mobile Pack and Voila!

WordPress… Why did I ever try to build a website from scratch? This thing’s got everything!

Yup, I’m an idiot. I’ve had a Dreamhost account for a long time now, mostly for the email address, and I went to WordPress.com to set up my vim-related blog – the free one. Why the hell would I do that?? Dreamhost gives me the same thing, plus all the extras because I’ve already paid for it. Eventually I clued in :)

I’ll probably be changing some cosmetics and such over the next short while but the content should be staying the same – I’ll just be adding more.
